Model ER-1000 flush-mount; electrical resistance probe is a fixed-length probe for use with
the 2” access system in high pressure and high temperature applications. The flush element is
designed to reproduce the precise corrosion behavior at the wall of the pipe or vessel, as well as
allowing pigging operations to be undertaken without the requirement of probe retrieval. Two
sizes of elements are available to suit requirements regarding sensitivity and desired probe life.
ER probe body and sensor are normally manufactured by 316 stainless steel and AISI 1018 mild steel respectively.
Probe body and element are available in alternative materials upon request. Standard probes
are designed for mounting through a Hollow Plug assembly. This allows the probe to be installed
in the process, using a retriever tool and service valve, without process shutdown.
