The intrusive hydrogen probe assembly consists of three subassemblies. the gauge, thermometer and bleed valve assembly, the hollow plug assembly and the sensing element assembly. The limited length of sensing element is exposure in corrosive environment for standard intrusive hydrogen probe and the wall thickness is usually thinner than the pipe wall allowing shorter response time
