Model ER-4000 has spiral loop sensor incased in Epoxy. This probe is retrievable and designed for use with 2 inch high pressure access systems. This Model is designed for applications in oil and gas systems where a larger measurement surface area is desired. This element geometry provides greater strength for high or turbulent flow environments and has a greater resistance to iron sulfide bridging. The higher intrinsic resistance of this element design improves the reading resolution and the capability to measure low corrosion rates. Probe body is manufactured from 316 stainless steel with AISI 1018 mild steel element. Probe bodies and elements are available as alternative materials upon request. Standard probes are designed for mounting through a Hollow Plug assembly. This allows the probe to be installed in the process, using a retriever tool and service valve, without process shutdown.
