Model ER-1012 (with wire/tube/strip-loop element) is a fixed-insertion-length and standard flange-mounted. The probe is ideally suited for use in high pressure and/or hazardous applications where threaded fittings are not available or not recommended. Process shutdown or process isolation is required for installation and inspection. The probe assembly consists of an insertion rod with an element, a hermetically sealed connector and a flange (as specified by customer), which are all welded in place. A velocity shield can be provided if required. ER probe body is manufactured from 316 stainless steel with an AISI 1018 mild steel element. Probe body and element are available in alternative materials upon request.
