ERT-03 transmitter is intrinsically safe (Ex ia IIC T4 Ga) with ability to obtain metal loss/corrosion rate from all ER probes produced in P.Z.D. ERT-3 measures the resistance of the probe element which changes over time then transfer to control room. A two-wire connection (loop powered 4-20 mA) is required for both instrument power and data transmission. This transmitter is well suited for plant locations, widely separated monitoring points. The instrument is housed in an Ex-d IIC T6 enclosure, and all external connections are weather-proof (IP65).
